Meeting with New Members
On 30 October 2025, the Department of Mechanical and Metal Technologies held
a meeting with Halit Akçal, General Manager of Bekkiler Metal A.Ş., and Altuğ
Ekinil, HR Director of İŞBİR Sentetik, along with the company's HR Manager
Süleyman Şener and Machine Maintenance Manager Halil Çetintaş, who are members
of the Department Advisory Board.
During the meeting, technical field trips were planned for our students who
will begin the Vocational Training in the Workplace programme this year. It was
assessed that these trips, aimed at bringing students into contact with the
industry, will make important contributions in terms of professional awareness
and adaptation to the business world. Furthermore, the preparatory process for
the Vocational Training in the Workplace protocols with companies was
discussed. Within the scope of the meeting, the curricula implemented in our
department were reviewed, and the opinions and suggestions of industry
representatives regarding elective course pools were gathered.
As the Department of Machine and Metal Technologies, we would like to thank

collaboration.
